Tully Falls Road is where to find the Trailheads for - Koolmoon Creek, Walters Waterhole, Rhyolite Pinnacle, Djilgarrin Track, Cannabullen Creek, Cardwell Range and Bally Knob walks, seven in all. Also Wabunga Wayemba [Charmillan Creek Walk] is found approx 10 kilometres from the Kennedy Highway.
Wildlife abounds and includes platypus, wallabies, kangaroos, nine species of possum and approximately 250 species of birds.
The Road goes through rainforest and wet schlerophyl before coming to Tully Gorge and then onto Koombooloomba Dam.
